The only aquarium I was able to save

I have been in the aquarium hobby for many years but my experience has usually left me with dead fish and a sad face from the cycle process. This is the only aquarium where I have successfully maintained a mini ecosystem. Originally bought for a betta, the water coming out of the filter was too strong and he hated it. Instead, I stocked up on live plants and six ghost shrimp. The snails came with the plants and produced exponentially. Some will see this as a disadvantage, but I just see more life surviving in my tank. It has a nice stylish look, the filter is quiet and the dimming light is a great addition. The temp gauge is very accurate, going down when I lift the lid and going back up when I dive again. I'd like to read it in Fahrenheit, but that's no big deal. Some disadvantages are the height limitations of the substrate for burying the plants, as the sponge filter almost reaches the bottom of the aquarium. Because of this, a ton of rubble, sand, etc. will not fall asleep. Another complication of setup is the inability to remove the cover. If you cleaned this tank frequently it would be a major disadvantage, but from the moment you installed it and turned it on the tank cleaned and drove almost by itself. I highly recommend this tank for nano life like shrimp, plants or small snails. I wouldn't recommend it for bettas or fish in general, but that's just my experience. The sponge filter is great for small life as it sucks enough to clean the aquarium but not enough to kill most residents. However, keep an eye on the small area behind the sponge filter. Once I had to rescue a shrimp caught there. The sponge can also leave plant debris and excess food behind, but that may have just helped with my cycling process. Only one shrimp has died so far, which is incredible considering how delicate they are. I wish the light had a timer function so it could be turned on daily for the plants but overall I would highly recommend this little aquarium.
