Never thought I would love lightbulbs but I love them. They only use 7 watts of electricity, which is equivalent to a traditional night light! They have a very pure white light and, unlike the cheaper LED bulbs I've bought from other vendors, are so efficient that they lose little to no heat. You can put your hand on these bulbs after they've been on for hours and almost feel cold! Wonderful! Thermal efficiency means savings on energy bills and an indicator that products will last. I read a lot of fine print in my job. I tried one of these in my table lamp and it works great for me although it does have glare which I eliminated by standing the light up. Here I must add that my eyes are not that young anymore, so intense lighting suits me. If you have young eyes, you probably won't want to use the 60W model in a table lamp as it's as bright as a traditional incandescent bulb. It's also worth noting that this particular model has a color rating of 5000K, which is equivalent to daylight. It didn't surprise me when my wife thought these three were too light for her bathroom and makeup. For ladies or those wanting a warmer light I would recommend 2700K "Soft White" bulbs and maybe a lower wattage, sure to be available from the same manufacturer. On the other hand, if you want to see every detail, then this light bulb is for you!
