This paper is of average to good quality. It is not very heavy and easy to fold. The color on each sheet is listed on one side; Backs are white. The box says, "6 bright colors plus gold foil." Technically, there's a gold leaf, four solid colors (red, purple, yellow, and green), and two prints (orange with a white pattern that looks like repeating stars, and blue with white flowers). The prints look great in my completed origami projects. The included "booklet" contains instructions for the following origami parts: simple swan, pig, turtle, samurai helmet, rowboat, star box. They are perfect for beginners and adults, but a child will definitely need help to complete them.
