I have a 62 lb boxer mix that has a much smaller head than her neck. This made it impossible to retain any cone after TPLO surgery. The 2XL suit fits her perfectly. The legs are a bit long so I have to tuck them in or she'll step on them. Tonight I'm going to secure them with a few hand stitches so they don't roll away. She's not thrilled with the costume, but it keeps her from licking the slit and she likes having more freedom than with a cone. I think she will get used to it. The easiest way I've found to include her in this is to tuck her legs through the sleeves while she's lying down, usually after we've done our prom drills. She then usually stands up when I try to pull the suit under her, making it easy to zip up the back.
