Review on Rust-Oleum 7215502 Hammered Metal Finish, Black, 1-Quart (Packaging May Vary) by June Reeves

I absolutely love the look of this hammered copper! I have crumby laminate counters from 1998 and wanted to give my kitchen a big makeover until we can eventually gut the whole thing one day. I included a before and after. Kitchen is almost done. Doing three layers of this and then a clear gloss sealant on top. So far, holding up good on my test piece.(included picture) Definitely need to use mineral spirits for clean up immediately which is typical for these types of paints. TIP: You need to work rather quickly if you are doing a large area and try to create as much ventilation as possible because it has a strong odor.(which is expected) Still worth it though! I have received a lot of complements so far. The overall consensus is they believe I got a new countertop.My only complaint is with the shipping, NOT the manufacturer. I included pictures of the two products that arrived pretty banged up. The lids can still come off and the paint itself is fine, so that’s the most important part.
