Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

I bought this lens and handed it back to the store on the day of purchase. I didn’t hold a worse lens in my hands. My Nikkor 18-55 staffer, although not without flaws, shoots noticeably better. From the same Tampon, the photo quality is like on a mobile phone for two hundred dollars. The resolution clearly does not even reach 14 megapixels. Filmed on Nikon D90.

Pros
  • There are no advantages other than the range of focal lengths.
Cons
  • Lack of sharpness at any aperture and at any focal length. Chromatic aberrations are so strong that they cannot be completely removed even with special software on a computer. There is also a pronounced soft effect. Instead of bokeh, solid soap. When you hold down the aperture, the soap does not go anywhere and still remains so noticeable (especially at a wide angle) that it is not possible to use this lens for landscape photography. The lens distorts colors, highlights the pictures, and in the shadows and in the background there is no detail at all.
