OK I can't tell you about these tea/coffee makers - I've taken them to Chinana and Adagio and other places - I keep them at work and at home (so they were everywhere and needed replacements in case someone falls or something). I keep getting questions about it and I'm very happy about it. If you like loose tea this is perfect, and Bonjour is a really good, smart coffee maker, so much so that I'm keen to try cold brew coffee. I love the fine mesh on the bottom and the fact that it's BPA-free and dishwasher safe - these things start to look a little weird after a while with all the tea tannins and all. Simply put, you put tea leaves in this thing, let it steep for the required amount of time, set the device on top of a cup, and the tea flows out from the bottom while the leaves (or coffee grounds) remain inside. They even designed this for easy removal of leaves and crumbs, which is nice. It's big enough for two cups of tea or a large mug - perfect for this time of year, and the base is designed to prevent tea or coffee from accidentally spilling when placed on the counter.
