KVM switch component.

So I tried several KVM switches in the <$200 range that: - work with two HDMI 2650x1440 each - for three computers - KVM (kbd and mouse) - spare USB to connect the main unit Me tried 5, none There were other options but didn't want to pay more than $200. So I have two such HDMI switches https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098CZZDK9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and one of these USB switches https://www.amazon.com/gp / connected. product/B0916ZD7X2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The result was simple, practical, worked great and was much cheaper. Cables around and same footprint on the desktop USB and HDMI switches come with remote controls so I can place devices a little more than an arm's length away and the remote works great in a real KVM. Since the HDMI switches are the same, one remote will work for both. BUT, since the total cost of a skate, including cables, is about $75, and the cheapest double, 4-comp. HDMI KVM - 180 (note they didn't work), the choice for my use case was obvious. My USB switch connects my kbd., my mouse and my headset to all systems --- two windows and one linux without problems. Hope this helps someone out there
