Ideal for home use. Extremely easy to use. Just follow the instructions. I keep all my old hard drives. I migrated data from 5 old spindle hard drives and 2 solid state drives to a new computer. From there I transferred the data to a single 5TB external drive. You don't have to rely on the cloud to access your data. If the internet is switched off, this doesn't work. Store your data locally and create backups on this device. I professionally recommend using a Tccmebius hard drive docking station, TCC-S868-US USB 3.0, not the USB 2.0 one. Higher data transfer rate.
