WILL NOT WORK WITH 8AWG WIRE
I bought these connectors on purpose because they work with 8-18AWG wire and I needed them to install a car subwoofer that I am using I used 8 AWG wire. Well they don't fit right, I put the wire in but many of the strands were pushed around the insulation instead of through the center conductor. I used KnuKonceptz Karma SS 8 gauge speaker wire. Other reviews have also said it doesn't work with 8 AWG. They need to change their description in terms of wire size that will work correctly with these connectors as I think 12 AWG might be the largest.
