Bought this stand for my 15.6" laptop. The stand is made of aluminum. The net weight is 1.45 kg. Dimensions folded: L=11", W=10", H=2". Fairly light, angle and height adjustable. There is an Allen key in the box, but not a word about it in the instructions. After studying, I found out that it is used to loosen the mounting screws to easily adjust the angle of the top platform and middle leg. The middle leg can also adjust the length. The top platform is not long enough for my 15.6" laptop. As shown in the photo, I glued extra legs to the laptop to improve ventilation and reduce laptop overheating, now the laptop is no longer standing on it. The distance between the bottom of the laptop and the top platform is about 0.1" (2.5mm). Cutouts on the top platform prevent access to air vents on the bottom cover of the laptop. It would be better if the cutouts were longer and the top platform itself could be adjusted in length. The instruction manual says a working load of 10kg.I decide I'll check that number.First I loaded 16lbs and everything worked fine. Then I loaded 22lbs and the stand couldn't handle that weight. It's possible to find the right angle of the platform so the stand doesn't fall off.but I haven't spent time researching.Anyway I can't say the stand isn't doing its job.I will use it after some additional transformations.
