This is an upgrade from a previous version. The sound quality is fantastic as always. Now I can get it to work with my iPhone, PC and MacBook. For the iPhone you need a lighting extension with a pink audio cable and an AUX connector. For PC and MacBook, you only need one USB cable for simultaneous input/output and charging. The microphone is listed as a USB audio device for both input and output. You need headphones on the microphone to hear the sound. On a MacBook, you must manually select the input/output in the sound settings of the system preferences. On a PC, it automatically becomes the default audio device. If this doesn't work when connected via USB, the AUX connection requires an audio split cable with a pink audio cable. The splitter cable is not listed in the instructions but is included in the scope of delivery. Have fun with it at karaoke :-)
