Review on 🔥 Sharp SMD2470AS Microwave Drawer Oven: 24-Inch Stainless Steel, 1.2 Cu. Feet - Efficient & Stylish by Jackie Morales

I relied on a 4 1/2 star product rating in 2017 and a leek style for my new kitchen. My kitchen was completed in March 2020. I started using my new microwave mainly to heat dishes. On April 7th, 2020 I decided to popcorn. The unit started making a screeching noise and smelled like smoke, so I hit the stop button and opened it to release a stream of smoke that smelled like a power outage. I don't want to burn my new kitchen down, so I haven't used it since. DO NOT buy this model. Read recent reviews where most customers faced the same problem. It's crazy that when I googled "best microwave ovens 2020" Sharp was number 1, but I read a review from another seller's website that had the same problem as the one they bought and got a replacement, that Sharp gave them! I have contacted Sharp to see if there is a solution to the recall (refund or replacement). Looks like I'm stuck with an expensive repair on a brand new device as my manufacturer's warranty has expired. Buyer warning!
