Review on Vertical router BOSCH GOF 130, 1300 W green by Micha wierczewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I read reviews about this router and decided to write my own. 1) There is 1 copy sleeve (ring) in the set. For the American market, sold for an inexpensive large set of Bosch rings, including an adapter for threaded rings. 2) This is such a classic "average" router - the average power is relatively small weight. Comfortable to hold. If it had 12 collets, it would either cost more (like the Bosch GMF 1400) or weigh more, or both. There are large cutters for 12 collets, which he simply will not pull. I made box joints according to a template with a standard inch dovetail cutter (what is called a tenon cutter). In my opinion, this is the optimal power for it, it will be simply difficult to drag a large cutter (more than 19 mm in the lower cutting part) with this router. 3) Micro-adjustment is generally not needed, but when it is needed, it is not enough). In the case when it was necessary to set the immersion depth very accurately, meters with aliexpress are best suited, they have exactly up to hundreds. In its (middle) class, this router has a competitor either a green Bosch (POF 1400) or Ryobi (if you really want a 12th collet, and even then not all configurations of this router come with this option). From my point of view, for 8 (the price at which I bought it) it simply has no competitors.

Pros
  • - Execution quality - Smooth start - Maintaining momentum - Convenient frequency switching during operation - Doesn't play - Powerful enough - Collets 6, 8 mm, I also bought 6.35 mm. A full nut with a collet, not just a sleeve
Cons
  • - What everyone wrote - there is no micro-tuning
