Review on Kbrotech Handlebar Extender Extension Aluminum by Douglas Cochrane

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be prepared to deal with a bad clamp setup, once you get over that it works fine.

Clamp spacers are a joke as others have reported. It took me over an hour to install so it's firm enough to work, although it's still not as firm as I would expect from a clamp product. I had to use 3M automotive mounting tape (the kind used to attach body panels to cars, a very aggressive adhesive to say the least) around the steering wheel first and then around the inner gasket. And then I had to use slip joint pliers to pull it close enough to tighten the pinch bolt. Luckily I had these items and experience with them, otherwise I would have been unlucky. As for the rest of the product, this is the only extension I've been able to fit my new recumbent handlebars. It's narrow enough to fit perfectly in the limited space I have. The bar itself is strong enough to hold my rack mirror and bike computer with ease. If the clamp works properly I would give 5 stars.
