Will not stick to plastic spacers.

Good idea but poor execution. The spacers are made of plastic and therefore do not prevent the device from sliding down when something is placed on it. You should use rubber grommets to ensure it stays where you want it. Getting dressed was painful when it should have only taken a few minutes. Gaskets slip when tightening the screws. I ended up having to use tape to hold them in place while I tightened. If they had rubber spacers it would be a decent product as they do now very marginally. Only

I really wanted to be liked.

That's a great idea and would really solve the problem on my bike where to attach things so they don't get in the way. And the design looked good when I received it. My problem is the mount. The pads are hard plastic and just don't hold up well enough. I tightened it as tight as I could without breaking anything and although it seemed solid as soon as I started riding (I'm on a paved bike path with a few wooden bridges that are a bit bumpy) it started to slip. I only use it to hold my iPhone 7…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Frequency

Clamp spacers are a joke as others have reported. It took me over an hour to install so it's firm enough to work, although it's still not as firm as I would expect from a clamp product. I had to use 3M automotive mounting tape (the kind used to attach body panels to cars, a very aggressive adhesive to say the least) around the steering wheel first and then around the inner gasket. And then I had to use slip joint pliers to pull it close enough to tighten the pinch bolt. Luckily I had these…

YES, it works with 35mm bars.

It was *impossible* to find a "bar extender/light mount" that would fit 35mm bars, so I decided to try these. It was cheap enough that I wouldn't have gone out much if it didn't work. Turns out this setup works after 10 minutes of work and $5 at the hardware store with 35mm rods (see attached pics). To change the 35mm rods I used the following tools and equipment from the hardware store: 1/8mm drill bit - Phillips pan head screws, 6-32, 1 1/2" nylock nuts (2) - 6-32 (2) Attach the bar…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Great product!: Cycling

Got mine yesterday. Literally half an hour out of the box it was installed. And that includes the time I spent obsessively measuring everything to make sure the mounting clips were perfectly centered on the extension and dividing them into three perfectly equal parts. (I've been working with engineers for too long. LOL!) I didn't have the variance described in other reviews. However, mine is center mounted to a drop bar that spreads out towards the center mounting point. Also, the bar itself…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No result

Use an old inner tube to keep it in place

We bought two of these for our Radcity e-bikes. One star deducted because there was no adhesive film or seal, and therefore one star for the assembly. The standoffs were too small and the hard plastic liner for the mount wouldn't stay on, so the first one we installed wouldn't stay in place. We bought steering wheel wrap to install but that didn't work either. Then we had to think, and I remembered my brother-in-law's team trying to fix his sailboat during the race and I offered a piece of…

  • Sturdy finish
