Review on Kbrotech Handlebar Extender Extension Aluminum by Chad Baio

I really wanted to be liked.

That's a great idea and would really solve the problem on my bike where to attach things so they don't get in the way. And the design looked good when I received it. My problem is the mount. The pads are hard plastic and just don't hold up well enough. I tightened it as tight as I could without breaking anything and although it seemed solid as soon as I started riding (I'm on a paved bike path with a few wooden bridges that are a bit bumpy) it started to slip. I only use it to hold my iPhone 7 (in Morpheus mount) and Cygolite 1100. Not much weight but it kept slipping. I have tried alternative spacers from other mounts (rubber spacers) but have never been able to install them properly. I gave up. I believe if they provided rubber grommets like most other braces, it could work great. Great idea and I like the way it looks but I just can't get it to work.
