It was *impossible* to find a "bar extender/light mount" that would fit 35mm bars, so I decided to try these. It was cheap enough that I wouldn't have gone out much if it didn't work. Turns out this setup works after 10 minutes of work and $5 at the hardware store with 35mm rods (see attached pics). To change the 35mm rods I used the following tools and equipment from the hardware store: 1/8mm drill bit - Phillips pan head screws, 6-32, 1 1/2" nylock nuts (2) - 6-32 (2) Attach the bar extensions to the 35mm bars. You will find the top half of the "latches" on the handlebar and fit snugly. Turn the bottom of the clamshell/clamp up as if you want the bindings tight push against the handlebars. Squeeze the gripper mount lightly with one hand and hold the pressure. With the other hand, insert the drill bit through the top of the mount (where the screw fits) and drill through the bottom half of the gripper mount threads You may have to drill the hole several times to get the new hardware through the hole you just drilled new hardware (may require some force to push the new screws through the drilled holes) Tighten the nylon nut until it stops. bra Che, done! :)
