I decided to replace the brakes and discs myself after a couple of garages gave me a price of $1200-$1400. They compared the prices of the parts (brakes and rotors) they were going to fit and found they were three times cheaper online. The front brake pads were easier to find than the rear brake pads. I'm not as familiar with Power Stop as I am with Wagner and Napa. But for now they are doing what they have to do. After my old pads wore out a bit, I got used to hearing that nice grinding noise and pressing the brake pedal to the floor. Now the brake pedal is firm and touch sensitive. No more spongy. What a relief to know my car is safe again. Pictured is my front left brake line with everything installed including the new EBC Premium vented rotor. The brake pads and hardware fit perfectly and look the same as the OES pads.
