I've been using the Philips Sonicare Series 3 for a few years and I've noticed that over time the motor isn't as efficient as it was on day one. This Oral-B is $15, thought it might be worth a try. To my shock and surprise, an entry-level electric toothbrush came to my rescue. The cleaning power and dynamics are a million times better than the Sonicare version. He did an excellent job removing plaque and cleaning the gaps between teeth. Don't forget dental floss, nothing can replace dental floss. it's pretty cheap but gets the job done. The brush head is made in Germany; Motor block/handle Made in Mexico. However, there is no trade-off in performance.
