¡Crushes feet causing pain, ingrown toenails, and pressure-sores!

We have a trend in compression socks in the last year. Someone decided to make them compressive all the way down into the feet, and the other manufacturers figured that the 0th manufacturer is on to something and copied. I need to step back a bit:If one needs to stand, as I am many others do at work, one develops varicose veins. Socks which are tight from the ankle and go all of the way to the knee help. The foot does not need compression. These socks are so tight in the foot that they take 5-10 minutes to don and cause severe foot-pain from bones grinding together, ingrown toenails, pressure-sores. These socks are a fail. The manufacturer should loosen the socks from the ankle down. If these socks would be as loos as the loosest socks from the ankle down on the market but as tight from the ankle up as they are, they would be great. I would give to them 5/5 stars, but, as they are, they get 0/5 stars.

Pros
  • INTRODUCING HYBRID COMPRESSION SOCKS: We started by designing a high quality compression sock, and then we added our signature extra strength anti skid PVC grip pattern to provide unparalleled stability and mobility. Our grip covers the full heel and toe for complete non-slip traction whether you’re roaming around an airplane cabin, exercising at the studio or gym, recovering from an injury at home, or walking on slippery hospital floors.
Cons
  • May not provide enough compression for those with more severe swelling or edema in their feet or legs
