The texture and color are what I was hoping for. Natural oatmeal color with a light linen feel. You should iron it before putting it on the bed. The corners aren't sewn, but that worked in my favor because I had to adjust the length to fit an 8 inch drop on the bottom. I was able to simply fold the excess fabric under the mattress and easily stack the open corners on top of each other. If you want the corners to be sewn it would be easy to hand sew or machine sew. The fabric isn't tight, but I didn't notice it on the bed. For the price (and I did my homework) it was the best quality and price I could find!
