In fact, I was on a recent trip and decided this is the perfect time to check whether this is a good idea or not. The case opens to reveal a brush holder in the lid with a clear plastic flap to protect your makeup brushes and a small zipped side pocket. The main compartment has a mesh flap that closes with a zip, giving you a separate area for your essentials. Problem one, the dividers don't move. It's okay, I mostly travel with travel bottles. It's perfect for that. There's a longer compartment where I put a wide-toothed comb, a toothbrush, and a tube of toothpaste. It fits cosmetics, solution and contact lens cases, makeup sponges, brushes, various tools that I love to travel with. The suitcase was almost full when I finished but it wasn't very heavy which I was pleased about as it fit in my backpack for carrying. Overall I liked this suitcase but it would be too big for a weekend or overnight trip and I didn't like not being able to put my conditioner and body wash in it. I ended up using another bag to store everything. Vera has several other bags that are good for shorter trips and I used a small bag to store my shower stuff in.
