I have no way of knowing if this unit will work unless I have a power surge so I trust it will work when needed. The network analyzer works. Indicators show when the shift is good. But again, until I turn on the faulty circuit, how do I really know. The only problem I had was that it was very difficult to connect my RV's electrical cord to the surge protector. The connector was very tight, like it wouldn't fit properly. I had to wiggle it and finally it was fully connected.
