My chairs are very big.so this is like putting a t-shirt on your chair.lol.They would be better if they were just a tad larger, but probably most chairs aren't as big as mine.the fabric is alot like a jersey t-shirt.and the white is yes,,white, not cream.I think cat and dog hair will stick to this fabric,,however my cats and dogs don't sit on the chairs.Overall I'm happy with these covers.I've searched for LARGE chair covers and can't find white.so these will do nicely until I find the Extra large in white.My only complaint would be that they are very thin fabric so if you were covering a dark chair with a pattern it would show thru.,and probably not look so good.my chairs were already white,,so 😊
