Review on 🚗 Autowbrake: Trailer-Mounted Electric Brake Controller for Easy Towing by Mike Barnes

Autowbrake was easy to install. I had the wiring diagram for my caravan so it was fairly easy to trace which wire from the autowbrake connected to each caravan wire. The first ride went great. On my second trip I plugged it in and it didn't seem to work so I ended up using an old truck with a real brake controller. When I got back from my trip I called Autowbrake. They have great customer service, Byron at Autowbrake called me back straight away and helped resolve the issue. In my trailer the black 12v wire is also powered by the battery so it doesn't work. I unplugged this wire and plugged it into the headlights and it works great. Just remember to turn on the light manually, I do it for the rear camera anyway so it's not a big deal. The setting has also been shifted slightly. I had it in mode 2 and had to crank it up a bit with the key fob to increase the setting in mode 2. I am very impressed with their customer service. That's hard to find these days. Usually you bought it, now it's your problem.
