Review on Vegan Salted Caramel Protein With Digestive Enzymes: MRM Nutrition'S Veggie Elite Performance Plant-Based Protein, Gluten-Free And Packed With BCAAs For Optimal Results - 30 Servings by Danielle Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Vegy powder for the Gas conscious individual

I had to switch to this because my trainer has me on 30-35g of Protein every 2 hours and the Whey Isolate was killing me. And others. As in gas. Not just the loud and rambunctious kind of gas but the post-apocalyptic, bring down planes, cause children and small animals to flee and could be weaponized sort of gas. I am actually not joking, my dog- the one that eats poop actually backed out of the room and barked at me.So yeah, after a cornucopia of review snooping- I settled on trying this as it has the enzymes built in needed for proper digestion.Pros-1) My gas has not caused anyone to pass out in weeks and the government quit hounding me as a potential natural resource.2) Relatively inexpensive when purchased on Revain- I saw the price in a supplement store and it was almost double.3) 1 to 1 1/2 scoops mixes decently with a 10oz glass so I feel full but not bloated after a shakeCons-1) The taste. I really have no idea where some people are raving about this taste wise. Is it the worst I have ever tried? No. But it certainly ain't the best either. I call it solidly in the middle- a standard chocolate/cardboard affair. I have to use unsweetened Almond or Coconut milk (my trainer has restricted me from dairy) to make the whole thing a bit creamier and palatable. Maybe this is in comparison to other vegy protein powders, I have tried a couple over the years and they were indeed truly awful.

Pros
  • MRM
Cons
  • May be too gritty for some people
