I installed this professionally and it works exactly as advertised. He can lean forward, but apparently also rotate. It's new so the pivot is very tight so I have to use force to move the TV but I think it will come loose and I'd rather have it tight than loose! One note: the TV protrudes quite a bit from the wall due to the mechanism that allows it to pop out of the wall. Don't think it's anything close to flush mount, but it still looks good. Please note: do not repeat my mistake. I didn't want any cables so an electrician came to install an outlet behind my new 50" Vizio TV as the HDMI cable also runs in parallel. No cords or cables are visible. But the part that actually mounts on the wall is quite small and I could mount the TV somewhere else in my room where the power plug already was, but I just never thought about it because I didn't think what to mount there , will be enough space .
