I have medium for my 8lb chihuahua. I wanted a cheap way to take them on bike rides. Surprisingly, she fell in love with him almost immediately. It definitely feels secure, although it can be a little tricky to put on. The fit is almost perfect - good in girth, but the neckline rises too high and kind of smothers it. Not bad enough to be unusable, but it does make a little coughing sound. I only use one hand to support her weight and that fixes the situation. Haven't tried it yet, but I can probably use zip ties to stretch the elastic neckline so it doesn't sit so tight around her neck. I'm not sure if this is related either, but she had an anal gland abscess (first time and she's 10 years old) and soon after a long bike ride she had to go to the vet for it. There might be something in there, but I'm not sure.
