I never got a chance to actually use the product, because it comes folded, with a big instruction label with multiple steps to flatten the object out enough to use; it is very hard & stiff. They want you to soak it in very hot water (194°, so not just bath water) & weight it down, or heat it with a hair dryer & weight it down with a 60# object, then wait a WEEK before it's flat enough to fit under your cat box. This is untenable in our house, whatever its fine points. We had to return it unopened. And they require full packaging for the return if you use UPS, not the usual procedure. They need to either improve the pliability of the material or their packaging for shipping.
