It took me decades to realize that "DRY CLEANING ONLY" is not a law to be obeyed unconditionally. The laundry label doesn't take away my free will. I've always read those 3 words and hypnotically handed my clothes over to be processed in a hot, steaming industrial facility, where they come back pinned to a plastic-wrapped wire hanger, leaving a tiny trail of vapor when ripped from the fabric. an endless rotating conveyor belt for someone else's laundry. But I don't have a managerial job or a party lifestyle that requires my clothes to be washed on a schedule, so dry cleaning doesn't fit into my routine. It's as anomaly as taking a spin class or spending money at Starbucks. For some people, this is just as important as grocery shopping or transporting the kids to school. On the other hand, as a single stay-at-home mom of two, a dry-cleaner is just as annoying as an oil change or a trip to the DMV. it breaks the routine and I'd rather wear something else (until there's nothing else to wear and I have a choice of going to the dry cleaners or buying something to have a clean sweater) Well a few months ago I did I saw the label on a new sweater that said dry cleaning recommended? The? featured? How strange! Selection? So I searched the internet and found that almost all dry cleaning services are completely EXTRA! Holy cow!'. and in almost every case the least preferred way to keep your clothes vibrant and shiny! Chemicals break down fibers and shorten the life of your clothes. With a little care, you can wash your sweaters at home for FREE and in less time than your entire dry cleaning. I've always hated the lingering odor of dry cleaning solvents, but the overpowering odor associated with most cleaning supplies has never bothered me. Also, natural fibers like wool or cashmere tend to smell musky or old when wet. So I set out to find something I could use on sweaters that doesn't leave a strong odor and, more importantly, rinses easily and leaves no residue. All my searches have returned to LAUNDRESS products. Magazine articles, consumer research, home blogs, and how-to blogs. LAUNDRES products were repeatedly mentioned. I liked the simplicity of their claims and the FABRIC CONDITIONER was exactly what I was looking for. I guess there are so many fake reviews and click traps out there that it's really hard to get a real sense of how good a product is. works and meets its requirements. Based on the sheer number of times LAUNDERWORK was mentioned/recommended/listed/viewed, as well as the price (not that cheap, I would worry about damaging my clothes, but less than a dry cleaner's visit) and by Revain excellent return policy. I tried. LOVE. That's the best way to describe it. All. Package. Mark. Odor. The pearly color of the conditioner, the silkiness of the water after pouring it out of the cap, the evenness of its distribution, the purity and transparency of the water after rinsing, the softness of the sweater when it's still wet, an incredible feeling after washing. dry. A touch of fragrance. almost too faint to even notice, but enough to make you feel like you're wearing something fresh and freshly brushed. Now I add it to ALL. All my bedding, from baby clothes to towels I use to clean the house! Just a little bit of fabric softener changes the whole dynamic of how cleanliness SHOULD feel. I use fragrance-free laundry detergent, or reusable laundry balls that change the pH of the water and (probably? hope?) help the environment, or PURACY enzymatic stain remover. in the wash cycle. I use cold water, quick wash and rinse once and only use wool balls in the dryer (if at all). My underwear always looked clean, smelled clean, and felt appropriate. No complaints. Since adding this conditioner to my routine my underwear looks brighter, smells fresher and feels amazing! I am so spoiled by this product that I poured some into a travel bottle of shampoo so I wouldn't want to be without it. Vacation. I wouldn't do a load of laundry without it. This is one of the few things I can truly admire in a review (Kickee Pants kids clothes, Brave Soldier Healing Salve, NYX Miracle Pen, Lauren Moshi Sweatpants, Nexcare Acne Patches. just to name a few of my things I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT ) I've got about Took 45 minutes to write this. It's hard to find words to adequately describe the feel of the product. If you were about to buy this. I hope this review convinces you to give it a try. I fully support LAUNDRESS fabric softener and encourage you to discover what you have been missing.
