Review on 💨 Crucial X8 500GB Portable SSD: High-Speed 1050MB/s, USB-C & USB-A Connectivity by Jake Pavelko

After less than 6 months of use the drive stopped connecting to computers, Macs and Windows. never liked Connected three times to backup and move files. Contacting Crucial support is a maze. On the disk itself. It is very slow after the cache is full. For the price, WD Black Series gaming drives, both HDD and SSD, are much faster (over 10x faster than the P50) and have been more reliable so far. Even the HDD beats it in speed. Decided to try x8 for SSD stability but didn't expect it to break in less than 3 uses. Will try to contact Crucial again to see if a solution can be found.
