Utilized for a few months at a time. The primary issue is that there are numerous gaps in which some water is still present (mostly a thread where the cleaning cartridge is inserted). Mold quickly begins to grow in these areas as a result of the collection of water that occurs there. Hence, if you don't want to spend a lot of time washing the filter thoroughly once every couple of days, you shouldn't get it because you'll have to do so. Personally, I have been sickened by this mold on multiple occasions (I vomited a lot and had a high temperature). Therefore, it does a good job of cleaning, but in the long run, it ends up making the water dirtier.
