Review on Princeton Catalyst Polytip Brushes Acrylic Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies in Painting by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not so reliable

I bought five Catalyst brushes that were recommended for the acrylics course I started in March. I mostly paint on weekends so they are not used daily. I keep my brushes clean, wash them with soap and water after each painting session, and store them upright. I was surprised when they started fraying and snagging. I liked how they apply the paint but I'm confused about how quickly they break. They are not the quality I expected and probably won't buy them again. I am currently looking for a suitable alternative and have ordered Ruby Satin from Silver Brushes for a test drive.

Pros
  • Vibrating Brushes
Cons
  • Damaged
