I bought this bag for a week old orphaned mouse. Stuffed with cotton, she made a convenient mobile nest that I could use to travel on business. This is a great product for small animal owners looking to bond with their pets. My mouse is now an adult, about four inches long and has enough space to run around and hide treats in its nest. She doesn't get stressed when I wear her with or without a zip and stays fairly calm throughout the day (mice are morning/sunset active). When unzipped, she has easy access in and out of the bag to climb on my shoulders or walk across my stomach when I'm seated. She has already hidden the wooden stick, one of my hair ties and some dried vegetables in her nest and feels very safe inside. The bag is very padded and the mesh window is small enough for the pet to see out but not escape. I can fully recommend this product.
