Great idea. but this design has serious disadvantages. bad design. Second, the top bar is too long, resulting in a large gap on both sides. Some people filled this with plastic washers or other washers to fill the gap. But should we? Third, the cutouts for the license plate bracket, apparently for European license plates, if you are fitting an American license plate, the screws hit the top of the carrier and bind it. Of course you can polish it up and make it work. But then again, why should I do that? Finally, the flip function doesn't work. If you try to flip this panel over, the bottom will lift about 2 inches before the top bracket comes down. The plate never releases the winch cable, so you must remove the plate before you can use the winch. This defeats the whole purpose of this record holder. And like PS, there's no hardware to install your actual bowl. So if, like me, you had screws holding your panel in place, you'll have to run to the hardware store and buy a set of nuts and bolts to attach the panel.
