Review on 🚽 Camco 40123 Quickie Flush: Prevent Backflow and Ensure Effective Cleaning by Reed Nuttbrock

I received this product yesterday and installed it today. I've used this particular dishwashing sprayer before and I know it will do its job well. The reason I am giving two stars is not because of the performance but because of the very poor presentation. As I read in many other reviews, the clear tubing was so twisted it was almost unusable. I spent twenty minutes carefully using the heat gun and finally got the hose into a usable shape. Hopefully the heat hasn't weakened the hose too much. I can just replace it with a real hose. The second issue I had was the 3/8" female hex socket to remove the check valve. The instructions say it should be tightened with a 3/8" hex wrench. Many reviews suggest adding more tape, which I decided to do. I took my 3/8" hex wrench, the largest of any 99% hex wrench set, and removed the anti-backflow device but nothing happened except I almost rounded the socket. The socket in my version of this product has a 7/16 socket! How many of you have these? So I went to Home Depot and 3 auto parts stores before I got it Was able to spend $15 on a new set of allen keys that included a 7/16 Anyway the finished job turned out great but they didn't make it easy to get hold of.
