Review on πŸ”₯ Enhance Spark Performance with NGK (52052) RC-FDZ061 Spark Plug Wire Set by Charles Ahmar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fixed bad misfire.

Bought to fix the poor throughput of a 2000 minivan. They worked great, but the burn marks on the inside of the spark plug rubber boots were fake. This eliminated the misfires and they worked very well making them easy to recommend. On other vehicles, the spark plug boots/caps are a separate piece, but on a minivan, the wires, connectors, and connector at the end of the coil are one piece. Note the following: Pay attention to the type of connector at the end of the coil pack. They changed at some point between models and the VIN numbers listed in Revain's product listing didn't really match what I needed for my 2000 MPV. Basically, look at your vehicle and make sure you select a product that fits the same type of coil terminal that you have. In my case, I needed these with large clips on them. I think they're a little longer than the originals so work to get them onto the connectors first, then work your way back to the coil pack, reconnecting them to support and guide the plastic parts as you go . It will take some time and make sure you document the coil pack numbering and cylinder numbering on the engine. Get it wrong and you'll have a new misfire! These new wires are marked with a plastic/paper label, but you will cover the labels a bit when installing the plastic sleeves etc. Be careful. I can't do more. tell. They worked very well. I have changed the spark plugs on this car before and I changed them a bit while changing these wires. The suggested spark plug parts work, but they're technically a bit broader than what Mazda itself recommends in the engine specs. I'm not sure if it really matters, but I wanted to be sure. Paid a little more for faster shipping to New Zealand and they arrived quickly. All is well!
