Received this coat for my wife through Vine in exchange for my honest review. My wife always complains about how cold she gets in almost every jacket she owns, with the exception of her LL Bean ski jacket. Unfortunately the ski jacket doesn't quite lend itself to more formal occasions so when I saw this coat I decided to try it on knowing I could always return it or give it away as a gift. When the box arrived I didn't immediately realize what was inside as the coat was folded neatly into a zipped bag that looked like it might contain the comforter found on the bed. When I opened the bag I found what I can best describe as a well tailored and beautiful coat. The second thing I noticed was the weight. I don't like to equate weight with warmth but they usually match and this is a heavy coat. The stitching, zipper and buttons look good, and the fur on the hood is realistic enough that my wife asked me if it was real (she doesn't approve of real fur). I was surprised (and pleased) to see that the coat fits her well and has enough room to put on a bulky sweater in addition to the shirt she is wearing. I ordered a medium size (my wife is about 5ft 4in and weighs 125lbs) hoping it would allow me to layer my clothes and still fit properly, and I was right (a rarity). The coat is a bit long but this one has the added benefit of covering her legs from the knees up, but it was a little harder for her to zip up. I don't usually pay much attention to coats but it looks like the coat is shaped like an hourglass and not just straight up and down because it hugs her figure without being tight. I bought clothes for my wife. I told her I could return them but apparently she likes it enough where she wore it the first day. Looks like my record has improved to 1 win 500 losses.
