Beautiful digital screen, great sound for such a small speaker. The radio is the size of my palm and the size of a deck and a half. The recording function works well and the sound is crystal clear from the recorded audio. The radio works while charging. Contrary to what the other person wrote on Revain, but there is a little trick behind it. You need to 1. plug in the radio to charge 2. turn off the radio 3. turn on the radio again 4. then it works SD micro card is another problem. I tried for 40 minutes to insert the card because it didn't accept my card. After calling Kaito's tech support they told me to return the walkie-talkie - I didn't want that. I turned the card upside down so the side with the writing wasn't facing me (SD micro cards) and then repeatedly pushed it at different angles until it finally fit and worked. The first few times I tried to make sure the card didn't invade the slot and almost get lost in the small gap between the SD slot and the radio itself. So make sure to use it correctly. It wasn't easy and it's definitely something they need to fix.
