This is one of my favorite felts. I have used this weight on several quilts, many of which are hand quilted, and this particular size is great for walls, cribs and baby blankets. My duvets are used so they are washed and this Valen is holding up very well. I didn't have a beard through the fabric and I like the evenness of the felt (no thin or thick patches). Here in the North we stack our clothes in layers when it gets cooler and I do the same with my blankets and put another blanket on the bed as winter approaches.
