Hard to find 50w Par20 bulbs are a perfect match for my new track lights. Offers a noticeable amount of brightness compared to 40-watt incandescent bulbs. I just replaced them with 9 watt LED bulbs which give more light than these bulbs for less power. 150 watts for three lamps versus 27 watts for full power LEDs. Also, four 200w Par30 75w kitchen lamps have been replaced versus 60w LEDs. Significant savings in just one year as they are on most of the time. The only downside is that most traditional dimmers that work with incandescent or halogen bulbs don't work well with LEDs as they require a higher load than the LEDs require, resulting in flickering and poor dimming. Dimmers for LEDs work much better and work as advertised.
