I don't often write reviews but this rug is one of the best things I've bought in a while. We have dark hardwood floors in our house. We live in the country and it was very rainy this year. We bought this mat to reduce wet, muddy footprints from two of our dogs. I really wasn't expecting much so we bought a small one first to see if it worked. That was great! We have a Cane Corso and a mixed breed. You would never know they were outside! As soon as you step on the mat, it absorbs all the moisture from your feet. This is especially effective if you get them to walk over it multiple times. A large dog's paws sink all the way in so he gets every drop. I'm not worried about a dirty floor. Best $60 We've Ever Spent!
