We received our rabbit when he was 8 weeks old and released him and put him in a cage while we were away. He peed everywhere and left trash! After 2 weeks I got tired and took the opportunity to buy this tray. I didn't think it would work at all, but YES! I put in a few drops of bedding and also put in a bowl of food and water and he seemed to know what to do right away! Enough space for him, bowls for food and water (I only use metal bowls) and his pee and poop! It's great because it falls to the ground. Also, his urine squirts, so 3 walls are a must! Must be cleaned at least every 2 days. I just take it outside, throw it in the bin and hose it down. Easy. This thing changed our new rabbit's life.
