We recently removed our shower and installed new tiles for a larger shower. Tilers don't install shower inserts or shelves, so we had to build our own shelves into the wall after the old shower was removed. We came across this tool through a construction company's website and thought it was perfect. The 14" x 16" size accommodates 14" and 16" cleats and can be rotated 90 degrees to adjust cleat spacing. It's a hard plastic material strong enough to hold heavy tile and the installers were delighted to work with it and it looks perfect in the new show and allowed us to install the insert in less than 2 minutes.
