I bought this lock not long ago because I bought an expensive e-bike. I looked at the ulocks and they were good but they were awkward to put on and not easy to store. This lock is tough but manageable. I put it in my bag on the shelf and don't even realize it. The lock is completely encased in a silicone coating and does not come into contact with the bike at all. The Viking lock itself has a magnetic closure which makes it very easy to use. No chain is indestructible, but if someone tries to cut or break that chain, it will stay there for a long time, and it's better to pack lunch. I am very happy with it. If I'm going to spend a lot of money on my bike I'm not going to use a regular lock, I wanted something heavy and that's definitely the way to go.
