Review on Toshiba SD-V391 Progressive Scan Silver DVD-VCR Combo for Enhanced Online Visibility by Brad Lovro

I bought one of these units a few weeks ago. I haven't shopped much, but did look around for a few DVD/VCR units. I also looked at some other models here. It was the best value for money I have ever seen. DVD/VCR combos are generally $150+ in stores. This machine looks good (not cheap), has more bells and whistles than I'm likely to use, is easy to hook up and fairly easy to use. I agree with the reviewer who wrote that the remote has a lot of buttons, but they don't take long to get used to and there are a few that you end up using most of the time anyway. electronics connoisseur, but i am completely satisfied with this machine. Picture and sound are ok, everything works perfectly. The real test, I understand, will be how long it lasts. Some VCRs I've owned had their motors wear out sooner than I thought.
