So the instructions aren't written very well but the YouTube videos out there apply to all puddle light replacements for the Tesla - because they all have to fit in the same spot. These lights were labeled "L" and "R" so I tried installing the "R" in the right door but the T was backwards. Instructions mentioned this but they were confusing because they talked about removing a lens which isn't necessary. I just swapped the left and right lights and everything was fine.As the videos mention, the wire on the Tesla Model Y (and some 3s) can be short so hold onto it after releasing it from the old light because if it slips back into the door, you'll have trouble. And not the River City type of trouble.Also did not need the extension wires that came with it. No "smudge" tool is included but narrow flat-head screwd driver is adequate for removing the lights and disengaging the wire from the old light.
