This CNHUALAI belt is 1.5 inches long, which is ¼ inch wider than the standard military belt. If you have any other standard size military belt buckle, they will not work with this belt. The belt has both good points and some disappointments. Good: - Decent quality - Plastic buckle is quieter than metal buckle - Plastic buckle does not scratch when rubbed. Compared to metal - Woven band - Strong disappointment - Custom sized to military specification - No metal edge at the end of the band. The ribbon is simply cut off at the end and the webbing melted in place to prevent fraying. - The plastic buckle is thicker and bulkier than the metal buckle - The plastic buckle is awkward to buckle - the belt will not tighten or pull as tight as a metal buckle. Overall this belt is fine and works well, but I still prefer the metal buckle, standard woven military belts. Standard military belts cost the same as this plastic buckle belt, so I don't see any real benefit in this belt for me. .
