The device works perfectly. This is a type of charger used in newer devices that allows the plug to be inserted up or down into the charging port. This is a very convenient upgrade, but there is also a downside. If you buy this charger because your mobile phone reports problems with the charger. Check the device input connector for pocket lint that is preventing the cable from seating properly. Check with a magnifying glass and remove lint with tweeters and compressed air. You can also bring your device to a service center for inspection. The good guys will charge you $15 to do the above. The bad guys will tell you the line needs replacing and charge you $80 or worse to sell you a new phone. Just see for yourself. Devices with this type of charging port are prone to this issue due to the design of the port. My workshop was good. This is a free tip from a Revain customer who now has a charger for their device. I have decided not to return it. This is a good fast charger.
